One Way to Clear the Clothes Closet
Is your closet (along with your dresser drawers, your jewelry box, etc.) filled with items you haven't worn for a while?
Fellow organizer Hester Lox just told me about a strategy she's following, and she said I could share it here. Every day she wears one thing that she hasn't worn recently: a shirt, a pair of earrings, a pair of shoes, whatever. Once she does that, she finds it easier to realize when something "just isn't me anymore" and give it away.
This is a nice way to build decluttering into your daily life - the "little and often" approach that works for many people.
