A No-Clutter Wedding Gift
Weddings are wonderful - and I just received the nicest e-mail from a bride-to-be. It read, in part:
"Now for the special news! My partner of 19 years and I are getting married in October. We are asking you to help defeat Proposition 8 which could annul our marriage if passed, by making a donation in our names to EQCA (Equality California). We are listed on their online wedding registry."
I don't think I've ever bought a wedding gift so quickly!

Love it! When DH and I got married, we registered at justgive.org, which is a charitable donation registry. You can pick a few of your own charities or people can give to one of their choice.
Michele, that sounds like another great idea for those getting married at a point in life where they really don't need more stuff.
Congratulations to your friends! Many of our California friends are finally able to marry and we are thrilled, too.
