Bamboo is beautiful and renewable - so when Storables sent me an e-mail showcasing their new bamboo laundry hampers, I sure took note. There are two shapes (round and rectangle) and two sizes. Update on August 25, 2012: Storables doesn't seem to carry these hampers any more.
And then I checked around, and there are some other bamboo options, too. The Container Store, always a good source for products, has a bamboo lattice hamper.
And VivaTerra has yet another style of bamboo hamper. Update, January 14, 2008: Viva Terra no longer carries that lovely hamper.
