Staples MAILMATE Shredder
How odd - the Staples MAILMATE Junk Mail Shredder is the third unusual shredder I've written about in the last month or so.
As a recent article in the St. Petersburg Times says, "It's [sic] looks like a coffeemaker because it's meant for the kitchen appliance counter where who knew? most people sort their mail."

I have a problem with procrastination. I am concerned with Identity theft, but i am also too lazy to seperate the sensitive items in my junk mail, from the harmless. So I'd let piles and piles of envelopes collect before I get it in my mind to sit down and do the deed. Then, it takes a long while to sort and shred. So when I saw this shredder, I said "Can't hurt. Might help."
It's THE ANSWER! My mail goes no further than my dining room table, where the entire envelope is inserted into the shredder. No more sorting and seperating. If I know it's junk mail, it's toast.
Be careful though. Although I have not made this mistake yet, you just may shred something important. So maybe if you're nort 100% sure a piece of mail is junk, check it first. But THIS is a fantastic shredder. I love it!

Tony,
I'm so glad to know you found a product that works for you!
By the way, you may want to take a small amount of time to reduce the amount of junk mail you get - then you won't need to shred so much! One phone call and one letter or web form can help a lot.
See this information about reducing residential junk mail - especially the first two items (credit bureaus for credit card offers, and the Direct Marketing Association for everything else).

Looks like a toaster! I can see myself now shreding my morning toast.
