Keeping the Cords and Cables Close At Hand
You know all those cords you have on your desk, that aren't in use at the minute? The ones that tend to slip onto the floor? Here are some of the products that can help make sure those cords are always at hand when you need them. The one above is the Cord Catcher, from Dotz. It comes in black, red and white.
Oxo has the Cord Catch.
And BlueLounge has the Sumo.
Want something more beautifully designed? MOS — the Magnetic Organization System — began as a successful Kickstarter project. One place to buy it is Bite My Apple. It comes in white, black and aluminum — and it can be wall-mounted if you prefer. The magnetic cable ties hold any cords that wouldn't stay in place on their own. And for a totally gorgeous product, there's OneLessDrop, from Heckler Design — "the elegant power cord anchor." It's a solid block of recycled aluminum. The OneLessDrop comes in red and silver. Update on Sept. 10, 2103: The Heckler Design website says: "The OneLessDrop has been discontinued but keep your eyes open for a new iteration in the future."

Perfect timing! I keep anchoring a couple of cords with random stuff and this is a much better solution. Thanks!
Cynthia, I love it when that happens! Thanks for letting me know.
