7 Striking Laundry Bags
Laundry might not be fun - but there's no reason your laundry bag can't be! If you're looking for a different sort of laundry bag, maybe you'd like these jolly sheep or fat cats.
This pretty laundry bag comes from Lisa Stickley. [via Tea for Joy] Update on Feb. 19, 2010: I no longer see laundry bags on Lisa Stickley web site.
Here's an attractive laundry bag that tells you how to do the laundry, too! [via Better Living Through Design]
This lovely laundry bag comes in blue, pink and lilac. Update on June 22, 2012: I'm no longer seeing this laundry bag at the site where I first found it — but other sites sell toile de jouy laundry bags.
For the nautically inclined, there's this embroidered laundry bag. Update on June 22, 2012: I can no longer find the bag shown above. However, it appears this laundry bag was made by Powell Craft, which still makes other laundry bags, such as this pirate laundry bag and this circus laundry bag.
This is just one of the laundry bags sold by A Touch of Europe. Update on June 22, 2012: This specific bag is no longer available — but other bags from La Maisonnette are, including this laundry bag with bloomers.
And finally, here's an example of the stunning laundry bags from Ingrid Anderson in New Zealand. Each one comes with a recycled timber frame. You can buy them online here. Update on June 22, 2012: It seems that Ingrid Anderson no longer makes these laundry bags.

Hello Dear,
ReplyDeleteSo, in your research travels, have you found a sectional laundry hamper that is eco-groovy? Something along the lines of the Ingrid Anderson design, but with two or three compartments (for doing a pre-sort on the laundry), and hopefully not so pricey?

ReplyDeleteWhen I went away to college, I had a bag similar to the Laundry 101 one. It had instructions for washing everything. Everything except for the bag itself. The first time I washed it... it shrank!
