4 Ways to Control the LONG Cables and Cords
Sometimes the nicest way to deal with a long cord is to have something to wrap all that excess cord around. The Cable Turtle from Flex is one product you could use - a product that made it into the Museum of Modern Art. The manufacturer is usually shown as Cleverline, but U.S. sites often say it's made by Resource International.
The Cable Turtle is widely available - in Australia, the U.K. and the U.S. - and other sites I didn't link to, too. It comes in three different sizes, and multiple colors. [via Apartment Therapy]
Another nice product is the Sombrero Wire Manager from Doug Mockett, designed to attach to the underside of a desk. [via Popgadget, swissmiss and Apartment Therapy]
And then there's the Variable Cable Organizer from ACD. [via MightyGoods] Update on March 26, 2013: I'm no longer finding this product.
Finally, there's Fork and Cream Sauce from Lufdesign; part of the profits from the sales of this product go to Save the Children International. [via technabob]

These are great! I especially love the one with the fork. If you can't hide it - make it fun, right?!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Eva -- the fork is great!
ReplyDeleteYou've solved all my cable problems, Jeri, except doing the work. Guess I'm stuck with that part!
I'm glad to have solved (most of) your problems, Cynthia! And I'm delighted that you both like the fork; it's my latest find!
