I love your suggestion for naming computer files. When you're that consistent, you hardly even need folders and subfolders!
ReplyDeleteJanet, your comment reminds me of a document I read as I prepared this newsletter. The authors mentioned that you need to assume that a file will be seen outside of its directory/file structure - files get moved, e-mailed, etc. Therefore, any file name should stand on its own.
