For Valentine's Day 2009: Yet More Magnets
If you use magnets to organize papers, you've got some seasonal choices - that would also work all year round. Here are some of my favorites, starting with this iconic LOVE image on a magnet. Update on Jan. 30, 2014: I'm no longer finding this magnet, based on artist Robert Indiana's work, being sold by any reputable site which would have licensed the artwork.
Or you could go with a simple wooden heart. Update on Jan. 30, 2014: Beyond the Fridge is no longer selling these magnets.
These two hearts are pewter with an enamel finish. Update on Jan. 30, 2014: The website that sold these has disappeared.
Of course, there are many magnets that feature hearts; this one comes from Rustic Hearts. Update on Feb. 8, 2013: Rustic Hearts has gone out of business.
Over on Etsy, Tamar Hammer has a number of captivating hearts. I was first attracted to the ones with cats, but she's added a number of other designs; I especially like the bird love set.
I'm also attracted to these magnets from Grumpy Lizard - just one of the one-of-a-kind options the artist has available. Update on Feb. 8, 2013: I'm no longer finding these in the Grumpy Lizard shop.
Another Etsy seller, d'Pholk Design, has simple fused glass magnets. Update on Feb. 7, 2013: I'm no longer seeing magnets in this shop.
And then there are the domino magnets from Ruby Rabbit.
And finally, there's the Love is Colorblind magnet. Update on Feb. 8, 2013: The store that was selling these, One Horse Shy, doesn't seem to have them any more. However, you can find something similar here.
thanks Jeri!
