A Bulletin Board Alternative: French Ribbon Memo Boards

Shari won my heart; she tells us that making a French memo board is "entirely easy" while also posting a picture of one she made - and a list of the ways she went wrong - because "the world needs to know how not to make a French memo board."

For those of us without a bit of the crafting gene, buying a memo board would be a better option. I mentioned Texas Susannie's Christmas memo boards a few days ago, but of course she makes many more; that's one of hers above. She also sells on iOffer. memo board with cranes

Crane & Co. sells a few memo boards, including this one with - cranes! Update on Feb. 12, 2012: Crane & Co. doesn't seem to sell these any more.

Pins and Ribbons sells a wide range of French-style memo boards. Update on May 8, 2021: This store seems to have disappeared.

Trendy Tot Designs tends to make memo boards in baby blue and pink. Update on Feb. 12, 2012: This store seems to have vanished.

Pierre Deux sells memo boards with a French country look. Update on Feb. 12, 2012: It seems Pierre Deux went bankrupt.

And Tutta Bella Boutique sells some memo boards that aren't your normal rectangles. Shoe lovers might want to look at the "high heels" pattern. Update on Feb. 12, 2012: This shop seems to have disappeared.

Exclusively By Maritza is an Etsy store with a wide range of memo boards. Update on May 8, 2021: I'm no longer finding this store.

And finally, Nena Von is another Etsy merchant with memo boards. [via Retro To Go] Update on Feb. 12, 2012: Nena Von doesn't seem to sell these any more.
