Imagine my surprise when I see the beloved Totoro on the bento boxes. *girlish giggle* Being a former exchange student (to Japan) and having been married into the culture, I love your idea of using bento boxes for organization. Duh, why didn't I think of that?
Great stuff, Jeri, as usual. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4238401484560614586.post-56821396550498501902008-06-13T21:03:00.000-07:002008-06-13T21:03:00.000-07:00Hi Angelia,Thanks for the follow-up post on your b...Hi Angelia,

Thanks for the follow-up post on your blog.

I guess if I went back to Melaka I could find a cute one, based on this post.Jeri Danskyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01647833266269245240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4238401484560614586.post-81542459827512561982008-06-12T22:57:00.000-07:002008-06-12T22:57:00.000-07:00http://cuddlyfamily.wordpress.com/2008/06/13/what-...http://cuddlyfamily.wordpress.com/2008/06/13/what-is-a-tiffin-carrier/

did a wee bit of searching!

will try and take pix if I see any cute ones!Banshee Creativehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16917039644548898587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4238401484560614586.post-92157131253907503472008-06-03T18:22:00.000-07:002008-06-03T18:22:00.000-07:00ahh ok :) consider it my mission :) mostly stainle...ahh ok :) consider it my mission :)

mostly stainless steel ones but there are some "antique" and special ones for kids.

will search around :)Banshee Creativehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16917039644548898587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4238401484560614586.post-65287879338705338552008-06-02T07:42:00.000-07:002008-06-02T07:42:00.000-07:00Angelia,Most people in the U.S. don't know what a ...Angelia,

Most people in the U.S. don't know what a "tiffin carrier" is, so you sometimes see them sold under different names. To-Go Ware calls theirs simply a food carrier.

But places dealing with Asian food sell them as tiffin carriers: see this this 3-tier one, this 4-tier one, or this different 4-tier one.

But I'm not seeing the variety you'd get in Malaysia - nothing like this one, for example.

If you feel inspired to send me pictures of some prettier or more interesting ones, I'll use them in a future post.Jeri Danskyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01647833266269245240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4238401484560614586.post-43702571501217331032008-06-02T03:38:00.000-07:002008-06-02T03:38:00.000-07:00oh I love this!!
