If its not enough that they no longer protect you, the chemicals can actually interact with the heat and CAUSE burning.<br /><br />Unfortunately, this is not always limited to old sunscreen. Some brand new ones will do the same thing depending on what ingredients are used.<br /><br />For the best advice google "Dingle sunscreen".
